How to Disable BattlEye
This documentation provides all necessary information on disabling the BattlEye anticheat for Grand Theft Auto 5.
Why Should I Disable BattlEye?
With the September 2024 patch released by Rockstar Games, BattlEye was added into Grand Theft Auto 5. This anti-cheat is known to be one of the hardest to bypass, which is why most menus have to have it disabled in order to be used.

The process of disabling BattlEye various across different GTA launchers. Steps on each launcher is provided below.
Rockstar Games Launcher:
Open Rockstar Games Launcher.
Click on Settings (located in the top-right corner).
Uncheck the BattlEye box.
Steam:
Open Steam.
Go to Library.
Right-click on Grand Theft Auto 5.
Click on Properties.
Type -nobattleye in the Launch Options box.
Close the Properties menu, and launch the game normally.
BattlEye should be disabled and you should be able to play story mode with mods as usual.
Epic Games:
Open Epic Games Launcher.
Click on Library.
Navigate to Grand Theft Auto 5's thumbnail, and click on the three dots below it.
Click on Manage.
Enable Launch Options in the newly opened menu and write -nobattleye in the box.
You can now close the menu and launch GTA 5 story mode with BattlEye disabled.
